Chickamauga Battlefield Paving Project Completed Today

Fort Oglethorpe, GA (WDEF) Officials with the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park announce the end to their re-paving project.

Lafayette road through the park reopened to normal traffic this morning at 9AM.

"We are pleased that park visitors can now resume the normal route for touring the battlefield," stated park superintendent Brad Bennett.
