Child Injured in Shooting on Water Street in Chattanooga

Chattanooga (WDEF)  Wednesday ended how it began on the streets of Chattanooga, with more gun violence. This time it occurred on Water Street.

Around 10:00pm, a young child showed up at the hospital suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Witnesses told police they were standing outside when someone in an unknown vehicle shot at them.

Earlier in the day, two other shootings left three people injured.
