Christian Heritage comes up just short of region title

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) — After a back-and-forth battle in the first half, North Cobb Christian found distance from Christian Heritage in the third quarter to take a substantial lead in the region finals game Saturday. Despite double-digit performances from Jax Abernathy (21), Braden Koneman (13) and Zundra Jackson (12), the Lions fell just short of a region championship, losing to the Eagles 66-56.
