Christmas Tree recycling in Hamilton County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tennessee (WDEF) – Hamilton County is taking used Christmas trees and turning them into mulch again this year.

You can drop off natural trees (without decorations) to the 5 recycling centers in the county through January 31.

The county will grind the trees into mulch.

You can pick up the mulch after January 3 at 7625 Standifer Gap Road outside the fence. Take as much as you want or is available.

If you need help loading mulch, come Monday thru Thursday between 7:30 AM and 4 PM.
