Clean out your medicine cabinets for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Spring cleaning season means cleaning out those medicine cabinets and finding plenty of unused or expired medications, which is why the Hamilton County Coalition is hosting their annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day this weekend.
On April 25, people will be able to properly dispose any unwanted medication at these designated sites:

The drug drop off is done annoynmously with no questions asked.
This event is to help prevent drug misuse, accidentaly poisoning with adults and children, and protecting our water supply.
For those unable to make it to the drop off, visit the Hamilton County Coalition website to find out other ways to properly dispose of your medication at home. They can also help with safely storing medications, away from prying hands.
