Cleveland and Bradley schools closing for eclipse
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – Both Cleveland City and Bradley County schools will close on August 21st for the solar eclipse.
The leaders of both systems issued a joint statement.
“Both school systems want to give families the opportunity to share this experience together as well as keeping the safety of our students at the forefront of our decision.”
Cleveland will be in path of the total eclipse.
Entrepreneur Allan Jones is donating eclipse glasses for all students in both systems.
They will be sent home on Friday, Aug. 18th.
