Cleveland High lock down after after social media threats

12:15 Update: Lockdown has been lifted at Cleveland High.

Cleveland Police Department has secured the situation, and all student activities will continue as scheduled today.


CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Cleveland High School is under lock down right now after social media threats against school personnel this morning.

Officials believe it is related to a student who was suspended yesterday.

As a precaution, there are extra police at the school now.

And hallway access and entrance/exit to the building has been restricted.

School officials ask parents not to try to pick up students until they give the all clear.
