Cleveland High School Football Team Placed on Probation

The Cleveland Blue Raiders will start the next football season on probation for a TSSAA violation.
According to Cleveland High School, new head coach Scott Cummings met with the guardian of a student at Cleveland Middle School.
During the meeting, Cummings discussed the vision he had for the Blue Raiders football team.
That’s considered a recruiting violation by the TSSAA.
As a result, the Blue Raiders have been fined $1,000, placed on probation for two years, and their preseason and spring practice time will be limited.
