Cleveland Police shoot dog after it attacks people on Gaut Street
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) Just after midnight, Cleveland Police were called to a home on Gaut Street for a report of two people bitten by a dog.
Officers found two dogs running in the area.
One of them came after an officer, who retreated to his vehicle.
Then two men came running out of the house being chased by a pit bull.
He jumped on top of a car to get away from the dog.
But when he fell off, the dog started biting him again.
The officer shot the dog two times.
The man was eventually treated by EMS.
