Cleveland Schools find partner to help find teachers

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – One local school system has partnered with a company to help combat the substitute teacher shortage.

Cleveland City Schools has partnered with STAFF-EZ beginning on December 1st.

STAFF-EZ will provide Cleveland City Schools with qualified and trained substitute teachers and teacher assistants.

The company will provide a great boost to the local workforce by providing training, scheduling flexibility, ongoing development opportunities, and more.

“We felt like we needed the extra recruiting power that they could bring to us. We are having a hard time keeping up with our need for substitutes. As many know there’s a staffing shortage across the country; not just in education but in multiple areas. We felt it was necessary to bring some folks that could really focus in on this area.”

Cleveland city schools are hopeful the company will bring more jobs to the region, and STAFF-EZ offers a wide range of voluntary benefits to their employees.
