Cohutta Police: Opened mail found in ditch
COHUTTA, Ga. (WDEF) — The Cohutta Police Department says more than 100 pieces of opened mail sent through the US Postal Service was found in a ditch on Old Apison Pike this morning.
According to their post on Facebook, the mail was addressed to different names and had Bradley County and Catoosa County addresses.
The Cohutta Police are asking residents to contact them immediately if anyone is observed going through mailboxes or if any resident is missing mail.
The mail found in the ditch has been turned over to the Post Master at the Cohutta Post Office.
