Coker Museum reopens after pandemic closure
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Today was the big day for the Coker Museum.
They opened their doors for the first time since December.
The museum held a small car show in honor of the big day that was long awaited by owner Corky Coker.
Coker says that vaccinations play a large role in his reopening today.
“I want to encourage everyone to get their shots so that we can get this mess down and so that we can get back to normal. We need to own getting back to normal. That’s what we are doing here at the Coker Museum. Just coming back and enjoying family time with cars and car people who are some of the best people in the world. So, we opened it up to the community to come on down here and enjoy that time here with us”, adds Coker.
The museum is loaded with vintage cars, hot rods, motorcycles, trucks, buses , and even airplanes.
It is also an event space.
