Come and enjoy a Day of Play at the Creative Discovery Museum
Mackenzie Steele with CDM joins News 12’s Amelia Greer as the local attraction gets ready to host a special anniversary event this weekend.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Creative Discovery Museum is celebrating their 30th anniversary and they’re inviting everyone for their birthday block party called the Day of Play!
On May 10, Chestnut Street between W 3rd St. and W 4th St. will be closed down for the celebration which runs from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. The event will feature lots of vendors, inflatables, a pop-up project performance, and plenty more.
The event is free and invites people of all ages to let their inner kid out. For those wanting to celebrate inside the Creative Discovery Museum, they are doing throwback pricing which is $.95 for kids and $7.95 for adults which was the prices when the museum opened in 1995.
Mayor Westin Wamp and Mayor Tim Kelly have both made a proclamation that will be read at the event.
