Community heroes clear fallen tree on Ochs Highway
Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – This evening, a tree came crashing down into the middle of Ochs Highway blocking traffic heading up and down Lookout Mountain.
But before road crews could even arrive, two community members stepped in—grabbing tools and working together to chop the tree into smaller pieces and move the debris out of the way.
In time, the road was clear and drivers were able to safely pass.
We weren’t able to catch the names of these community members—they jumped into their vehicle and drove off before we even had the chance to give them the recognition they deserve.
If you’re watching this—you know who you are—thank you for being the kind of neighbors that keep Chattanooga moving.
