Confirmation on the Newest Walmart Neighborhood Market in Hixson
Hixson, TN (WDEF) – Walmart is hiring for a third local Neighborhood Market opening in our area this fall.
We’ve told you about the East Brainerd store opening after Labor Day, and the East Ridge market opening in late September or October.
Walmart confirms the third store is on Hixson Pike.
The presumption has been that they are the company behind the construction in Highland Plaza next to Big Lots.
They still haven’t posted signs at the site yet, but the Neighborhood Market green paint scheme is going up there.
Walmart will hire 95 people who will begin work in September for a grand opening in the fall.
They have set up a temporary hiring center at 5450 Highway 153, Suite 178.
