Copperhill coping with water issues because of break in line
COPPERHILL, Tenn. (WDEF) – Copperhill’s water issues were improving Monday, January 22, but residents remained under a boil water advisory.
The small town in Polk County has suffered through “a significant line break.” The city has been posting updates on its water status via Facebook.
The break has meant low to no water pressure for residents since Sunday.
Those who have service are asked to boil their water as a precaution.
The Copperhill Water System has crews working on the break now.
Once they are able to restore pressure, they will have to perform bacteriological tests on the water before lifting the boil water advisory.
