County announces improvements for Chester Frost Park
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tennessee (WDEF) – Hamilton County officials announce progress in upgrading facilities at Chester Frost Park.
They have accepted a bid in connection to the Bill Dance Signature Lakes program.
The plan involves the fishing pier and two courtesy docks.
Chester Frost Superintendent Kelly Howingtown says “the gears are truly moving to replace our beloved fishing pier in our very popular boat ramp area.”
Crews will build the docks and pier at another location over the coming months and then install them at Chester Frost Park this fall.
It continues a makeover for the park in Middle Valley on Chickamauga Lake.
Officials reopened an improved boat ramp in March.
