Couple Charged With Keeping Kids in a Cage in Murray County

Chatsworth, GA (WDEF) – Authorities have arrested two people on charges of cruelty to children and false imprisonment.

And a third suspect faces the same charges plus possession of methamphetamine.

Murray county deputies along with agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation did a welfare check at a home.

They found a special needs child who was being kept in a home-made cage.

They say they also found a second cage that housed a second female child.
