COVID cases continue to drop
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF)- COVID cases continue to drop across Tennessee and Georgia but does that mean COVID is completely behind us?
The latest COVID surge due to the Omicron variant has come and seemly passed, but COVID cases are still going on.
Particularly the BA-2 omicron sub variant, which according to the Center for disease control says is the dominate strain in the U-S.
Cherokee Pharmacy pharmacist, Dan Trueblood, said cases are down. There were no reported cases in Bradley county yesterday and averaging only a few cases a week.
He said although cases have dropped, COVID will likely aidays be part of our lives.
