CPD investigating shooting on S. Watkins Street

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police were called to the 1900 block of South Watkins Street Saturday night shortly before 11:30 pm on reports of a person shot.

At the scene, Chattanooga Police say officers found 37 year old Nicole Roberts suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Officials say Roberts was taken to a local hospital.

Police say there are no suspects at this time, but the Violent Crimes Bureau is actively investigating the incident.
