Crews fighting brush fire on Signal Mountain

Signal Mountain, Tenn. (WDEF) — A twenty-acre brush fire is burning on Edwards Point on Signal Mountain.

There are about fifteen firemen fighting the fire which started Saturday morning.

Fire crews are having some difficulties fighting the fire in the rough, jagged steep terrain, but have built a partial line perimeter around the fire.

Crews are battling the blaze with hand rakes at this time.

They’re unsure how the fire started.

No injuries or damages to structures have been reported
