Crossville Police explain why they used a taser on a student

They say the 6'4" juvenile was threatening teachers and wanted to fight them
CROSSVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Crossville Police say they had to use a Taser to gain control of an unruly student yesterday at Cumberland County High.
They say the student had threatened physical violence against staff members and teachers.
But when their officer got their, they say he refused to cooperate, saying “It would take all 5 [of them] to make an arrest.”
They described the student as 6’4” and approx. 240 lbs.
After grappling with him for a bit, they used the taser.
He was taken into custody without further incident.
