Dade County house fire ruled arson: Reward offered

RISING FAWN, Georgia (WDEF) – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens said a fire at a home on Highway 11 in Rising Fawn was arson.

The fire broke out Tuesday afternoon around 12:30 p.m.

Investigators determined it originated in the kitchen area of the home.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

Damage was estimated at $35,000.
