Early morning meth bust on I 24 in Dade County
TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – An early morning traffic stop along I 24 led to sizable meth bust on Monday.
Dade County Deputy Hailey Geddie pulled over a vehicle for window tint violation and no tag light on I 24 near the I 59 split.
The deputy called for a K-9 unit which alerted on the vehicle.
The sheriff says a search of the vehicle fund a half pound of methamphetamine.
The occupants says they were headed from Atlanta to Winchester.
19 year old Josh Ensey from Unionville and 21 year old Jesse Odell from Fayetteville both were charged with trafficking meth.
