Dallas Bay Fire and Rescue respond to fire

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – Dallas Bay Fire and Rescue responded to a residential fire last night at 8 PM.

Residents reported they heard popping noises coming from the breaker box and soon saw smoke in the home.

They evacuated and firefighters discovered electrical issues and had the meter pulled.

EPB was called to secure the meter base and removed the service drop.

The American Red Cross is assisting the residents, including multiple children.
