Dallas Bay Trac Hoe Fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) Dallas Bay firefighters battle a trac hoe fire this late afternoon.

Around 4:00 p.m., a 911 call was made reporting a trac hoe fire at Shelton Construction located at 7611 Hixson Pike.

Dallas Bay VFD responded and arrived on the scene reporting a Volvo trac hoe fire fully involved in the engine compartment and cab area.

While there, Dallas Bay VFD requested the Hamilton County Hazmat team to respond to the scene due for a hydraulic and diesel spill from the trac hoe.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and damages are unknown at this time.

No injuries were reported, but Hamilton County EMS was on the scene for any potential injuries to rescue personnel.
