Dalton police have suspect photos of Outback theft

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – The Dalton Police are looking for two women suspected of taking money from a cash register at Outback Steakhouse.

it happened Wednesday night at the Outback on Market Street in Dalton.

Surveillance cameras show the suspects were in different areas of the restaurant waiting for carry out orders.

The suspects were observed watching employees as they entered passwords on the restaurant’s computers.

Then when staff wasn’t looking, they entered a password, opened a cash drawer and took $247.

They seem to know how the Outback system worked.

They drove away in a silver passenger car.

The suspects appear to be African-American women, but one employee says he thought they were males dressed as women.

One suspect had long straight hair and wore a white or light pink bandanna on their head, wearing white Adidas sneakers and black Adidas leggings and a kimono robe with Japanese lettering on the sleeves and the back. The other suspect wore a ball cap with long straight hair, white or gray colored leggings, Adidas slip-on sandals with socks and a black zip-up jacket.
