Dalton PD searching for leads on missing homeless man

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) – The Dalton Police Department needs your help locating a missing homeless man missing since mid-March.

64 year old Michael Grant Pitts was last seen when he checked out of a facility on the Hamilton Medical Center campus on March 18.

He was reported missing to police by a relative who had not had contact with him since March 1. For the past two years he has been staying in a homeless camp located near Providence Ministries near downtown Dalton.

Pitts stands approximately 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to please contact Detective Matt Lowery with the Dalton Police Department at 706-278-9085, dial 9 and enter extension 133.
