Dalton Police Chief assumes new job this week

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) Dalton Police Chief Jason Parker is leaving his job, but not the city.

Jason Parker moves over to City Administrator for Dalton on Friday.

He has served as the Chief of Police in Dalton for a decade.

Assistant Chief Cliff Cason takes over for Parker in the interim, while the city looks for a new chief.
