Dalton Police Need Witnesses to Morning Wreck

Dalton, Georgia (WDEF) – Dalton Police need your help to find out what happened in a grinding collision Monday morning on the North Dalton Bypass.

Around 8:20 AM, a white 2012 Chevy Sonic was heading north on the bypass when it hit a black 2005 GMC Sierra truck tried to turn southbound off of the new Pleasant Grove Drive extension onto the bypass.

The truck flipped on its side.

The Ringgold driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Sonic was also injured.

Both drivers told police they thought they had the right of way.

So investigators need witnesses to clear it up.
