Daus home destroyed by fire after owner left for work

DUNLAP, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Dunlap Fire Department didn’t find much left when they arrived at a fire this morning in the Daus community.

They got the call of the residential structure fire around 10:45 AM.

But the two story home was destroyed by the time they arrived.

The resident was not at home when it happened.

But firefighters did keep it from spreading to the surrounding woods.
