DCSO says goodbye to K9 Rocco

DADE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) On Friday the Dade County Sheriff’s Office said goodbye to K9 Rocco.

According to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office social media posting, K9 Rocco had a career filled with notable achievements.

“K9 Rocco departed this world, leaving behind an amazing career of notable achievement. He spent several years tracking bad guys, sniffing out drugs, and helping his handler take felons into custody…K9 Rocco spent his entire career with his handler, partner, and best friend, Chief Detective Casey York.”

The sheriff’s office says Rocco spent the last two years of his life relaxing at home, being pampered, and being loved by Chief Detective York, his wife, and their daughter.
