Deputy stops a prowler in a church parking lot

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Bradley County Sheriff says one of his deputies has put an end to some auto break-ins.

Deputy Jessica Morgan checked out a truck in a church parking lot on South Lee Highway on Thursday.

Then she spotted a man in a black tank top and red shorts crawling out of the truck window into the bed of the truck.

He ran, but officers got a good look at him from Deputy Morgan’s car video.

The searched a trailer park where the suspect ran and found Jacob Tamayo hiding inside one of the homes.

He wasn’t wearing the tank top and shorts, but they found them nearby.

The 21-year old has been charged with Auto Burglary and Failure to Stop, Halt, and Frisk.

Tamayo also had a couple of outstanding warrants against him.
