Dirt bike rider dies at Prentice Cooper, TWRA says

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A man died while riding a dirt bike at Prentice Cooper WMA on Tuesday, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

The TWRA identified the deceased man as 47-year-old Robert Micah Boaz, of Catoosa County, Georgia.

Another person riding a dirt bike found Boaz off Sulphur Branch Road. The TWRA said it appeared to be a single dirt bike accident.

Boaz was wearing a helmet, according to the TWRA.

The witness then called 911 and located a TWRA employee. They attempted lifesaving measures on the man without success.

Authorities then transported his body to the Nashville Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Puckett EMS also responded to the scene.

The circumstances of the crash are currently unclear. The TWRA said it is still investigating the incident.
