Disorderly student charged at Dalewood Middle School

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Dalewood Middle school student is facing several charges.

On Monday, March 11th, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to assist with a disorderly female student.

Officials say the student became physically violent with school personnel and the SRO stepped in to intervene.

The SRO also requested assistance from Chattanooga police.

The girl was taken to the emergency room where she was treated for an unspecified injury and later released and taken to the juvenile detention center.

A facebook video is being viewed by law enforcement and the Department of education.

The charges were (4) counts of simple assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

The SRO received minimal injuries and was later treated and released as well.

Per legal restrictions regarding the release of information pertaining to juveniles, this is all the details of this incident the HCSO will be releasing.
