Don’t Expect Titans to Beef Up Rushing Attempts Against Jacksonville

The Titans are built to run the football.
But in their season opening loss to Oakland, Tennessee ran the ball only 21 times for 95 yards.
However, offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie says don’t look for the Titans to necessarily beef up their rushing attempts Sunday against Jacksonville.
Said Robiskie:”It sounds good, but I don’t think so. I think if you run it ten times, you can knock the hell out of somebody ten times. You don’t have to run it 50 times do you? I don’t know if I”ve got to run it 50 times to say ooh boy, I’m tough. I ran it 50 times. This past Sunday, we played the Raiders. DeMarco (Murray) had 12 carries I think for 50 maybe 40 or 45 yards. In Detroit, he had 12 for 90. Yeah 12 for 87. You can take four or five plays and run theme 20 times or 24 times and beat the crap out of people.”
