Driver charged with vehicular assault for hitting man

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A Chattanooga man has been indicted for hitting a pedestrian on March 10th.

60 year old Herman Brown Sr. faces charges of Aggravated Vehicular assault, Vehicular assault, Driving Under the Influence (2nd offense), Driving on Revoked , Financial Responsibility and Due Care.

Investigators say he was parked when a pedestrian walked out in front of him on East 11th Street last Saturday afternoon.

They say he pulled out anyway, hitting the man and another parked car.

Tyrone McCullom suffered severe injuries.
