Dunlap Celebrates Fourth of July

DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF)- Sequatchie County celebrates the Fourth of July in style

They were holding their annual Fourth of July festival at Harris Park.

Plenty of vendors were set up and kids were enjoying the town’s splash pad.

There was also a parade that went through town this morning.

Several musical acts performed throughout the day, including Dunlap native and News 12’s Amelia Greer and her band Colonel Mustard and the Revolvers, played for the crowd.

Greer shared that, “I always enjoy it! We have such a great community turnout, the community really gets involved and I’m just really proud to be representing my hometown. I’ve had a lot of fun, it wasn’t super hot today so that helped a bit, and we just had a great time!”

Activities will continue throughout the evening with more music acts on the Harris Park stage.

The festival will conclude with a fireworks show at sunset.
