Dunlap Soldier Photobombs, Surprises Wife On Her Christmas Lights Tour

DUNLAP, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Dunlap soldier pulls off a Christmas surprise for his wife in North Carolina.

Infantry specialist Terrance Clark has been serving in Afghanistan.

So his wife back in North Carolina has been celebrating the holiday season with a cardboard cutout of her husband.

They have only talked once over those six months.

And this is their first Christmas apart.

So Mariah took a cutout head of Terrance with her when she visited the holiday lights at McLaurin Farms.

Little did she know that they were hatching a plot against her, when she paused for a photo.

Check out the video to see what happened.

Terry Clark has been in the army for five years after leaving Dunlap.

His mother, Tonya Birdwell, tells us he won’t get to come home to Sequatchie County this year, but the television story is a good gift.
