Early morning shooting sends two people to the hospital; six gunshot victims within 12-hour time span

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF) – Chattanooga police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent two motorist to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to investigators, Dennis Moore, 25, and Kimentia Ball 27, were both shot in their vehicle as they approached the Highway 27 / Highway 30 split.

The incident happened shortly after 2 A.M.

Both victims told police they did not get a suspect description because the ducked down when they first heard the gun shots.

This now makes six people shot within a 12-hour time frame.

Shortly before 4 P.M., two people were shot at the Hamilton Place Mall.

Shortly after 10 P.M, two gunshot victims arrived at a local hospital.

There is no suspects information in either of the shootings.
