East Ridge High School Teacher Currently Under Investigation

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – An East Ridge High School teacher is currently being investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, according to East Ridge Police Spokesperson Tim Mullinax.

According to the school’s website, 52-year-old Grant Allen Blaylock teaches Digital Arts & Design, as well as Career Management Success,  and Printing Technologies. Blaylock is currently under investigation for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a student.

School board member, David Testerman also confirmed the investigation in his district, “That is deplorable, and if those accusations are true, he needs to lose his job immediately.”
