Eastdale home damaged in Saturday morning fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga Firefighters responded to a house fire in Eastdale Saturday morning.

At 9:40 a.m., they received a call from a neighbor about a fire on Mark Twain Circle.

When they arrived, they believed a resident was inside the home, and began a search while fighthing the blaze.

They were able to get it under control in minutes, and the resident of the home was out of town.

There are no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.
