CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.
If you love pork, the Bacon Festival is the place to be this weekend.
This event in Cleveland is family friendly, and of course features a wide variety of bacon-related dishes, plus local crafting vendors and entertainment.
The festival is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, at the Cleveland Greenway Pavilion.
This weekend is your last chance to check out Fairytale Nights at Rock City this year.
There, you can see your favorite fairytales come to life.
You get a chance to meet Peter Pan, waltz with Beauty and the Beast, and explore the gardens with Cinderella.
The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday nights.
If you have a green thumb, or want to learn how to get one this spring, the Master Your Garden Expo is happening all weekend.
The expo features a wide range of exhibits, demonstrations, and educational activities about gardening, and experienced gardeners will be on-hand to help.
The event is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Camp Jordan Arena.
You can transport back to 16th century England for the opening weekend of the Georgia Renaissance Festival.
This 32-acre village features more than 150 shoppes, food and drinks, plus entertainment.
And of course you’ll see plenty of costumed characters.
It’s happening Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Fairburn, Georiga.
The festival is underway every weekend through June 3.
If you weren’t able to get tickets to Weird Al Yankovic’s sold out show in Chattanooga Friday night, you have a chance to see him in Atlanta on Sunday.
He’s performing at the Tabernacle at 8 p.m.
Fun fact – Weird Al is getting his own star this year on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
