Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – August 10, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.

Tennessee Valley fans of rock star Todd Rundgren won’t have to go far to see him perform Friday night.

The musician known for his hits, “We Gotta Get You a Woman,” and “Can We Still Be Friends?” is performing at the Walker Theatre.

The show starts at 8 p.m.

If you’re in the mood to put on your dancing shoes, head over to Brainerd United Methodist Church for a West Coast Swing Lesson Friday night.

You don’t have to have any dance experience or a partner to learn how to ballroom dance there.

The lesson starts at 7:30 p.m., and the social dance starts at 8:30 p.m.

If you head over to Nashville on Saturday, you’ll feel like you’re at the beach at Kenny Chesney’s Trip Around the Sun Tour.

Brandon Lay, Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion are also performing, so it’ll be a packed show.

The concert starts at 5 p.m. Central Time at Nissan Stadium.

If you’re in the mood for a lot of laughs, Atlanta is the place to be this weekend.

You can see both star comedians Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart in one place at the Tabernacle.

Their shows start at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
