Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – August 4, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.

You don’t have to be in Ohio on Saturday to see a Pro Football Hall of Fame speech.

Former UTC Moc player Terrell Owens is getting inducted, and will give his speech at the McKenzie Arena Saturday afternoon.

Owens’ speech starts at 3:17 p.m., but you’ll of course want to get to the arena early.

It’s free and open to the public.

Also on Saturday night, you can take advantage of the gorgeous views of the Scenic City from the water on a sunset tour.

You can explore the Tennessee River on a stand up paddle board, while watching the sunset.

The event is from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

You’ll have to RSVP ahead of time, and meet with L2 Outside at their store in Coolidge Park.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to do a Scottish dance, you’ll get a chance to on Saturday.

Boyd’s Jig and Reel in downtown Knoxville is hosting a free dance class for both newbies and professionals, where you can experience Scottish culture.

The event starts at 4:15 p.m.

For a unique stage show, head over to Atlanta Saturday night to see the Interactive Introverts: Dan and Phil, on their world tour.

The pair gives the audience an epic interactive experience of stories and rants that’ll make you laugh, cry and cringe.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Fox Theatre.
