Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – June 15, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.

There are only two nights left of the Riverbend Festival on Chattanooga’s riverfront.

Third Eye Blind will take the Coke State at 9:30 p.m., Friday.

The former lead singer of Poison, Bret Michaels, performs there at 9:30 p.m., Saturday.

Several other bands will perform on the smaller stages before both of those shows each night.

If you want to listen to live music, but want something more low key, head over to the Georgia Winery on Saturday for Music in the Vineyards.

At this summer concert series, you can enjoy sweet, southern wine and appetizers, while listening to the Clare Donohue Quartet’s sultry jazz music.

The event is from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday.

Saturday’s your last chance to enjoy the 5th Annual Gospel Fest at the Dalton Convention Center.

The Hoppers and the McKameys will both be performing on the last night of the event.

The show starts at 7 p.m.

If you prefer some old time blue grass, country and folk music, head over to Rock City for Summer Music Weekends.

In addition to live music, you can also enjoy some fresh squeezed lemonade and food, plus the Rock City Raptors Birds of Prey shows.

Activities are happening from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
