CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this Memorial Day weekend.

If you enjoy rock n’ roll, you can check out Back in Black: The Ultimate ACDC Tribute Friday night.

This tribute group’s set list spans 40 years of ACDC hits, including Back In Black, and Highway To Hell.

The show starts at 9 p.m., Friday, and it’s at the Songbirds South Stage.

You can take a short drive down to Ringgold, Georgia for a Memorial Day weekend tradition – the 1890s Day Jamboree.

It’s been taking place in downtown Ringgold for more than 40 years.

It features more than 100 food, arts and crafts vendors, live music on multiple stages, and even a parade on Saturday.

The event is happening until 10 p.m., Friday.

It’ll start back again at 9 a.m., Saturday.

If you’re looking to cool off for the unofficial start to summer, Lake Winnie’s SOAKya Water Park is opening this weekend.

You can relax on the large lazy river, or ride one of the flume body slides, if you’re looking for more of an adrenaline rush.

The park is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, and 1 to 6 p.m., Sunday.

1890s Day isn’t the only fun festival happening in North Georgia this weekend.

The Finster Fest is happening in Summerville, celebrating the city’s famous folk artist, the late Reverend Howard Finster.

There, you can check out more than 50 artists, regional music, and of course southern food.

The event is taking place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Paradise Garden.
