Erlanger Holding Christmas in July Toy Drive
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The weather is heating up but it is about to be Christmas in July.
It will be at least at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.
For the second year, they are taking toy donations for their Christmas in July toy drive.
Any toy donated will go to use in their toy room by patients at the hospital.
Wendy Burns, a child life specialist at Erlanger, said, “Many of the kids have to be here for many days in a row. Some of them are here for a month at a time or longer and they need something to sustain that and keep them feeling like kids.”
You can drop off toys in a donation bin at the front of T.C. Thompson or set up a drop-off time.
Erlanger asks that all toys you donate are brand new to ensure that they are sanitized.
