Falcons Defensive Back Jalen Collins Suspended Four Games For PED Violation

ATLANTA (AP) – Atlanta Falcons cornerback Jalen Collins has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2016 season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Collins, a second-round pick from Louisiana State in 2015, started two of his 16 games as a rookie and had 12 tackles.

Collins is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn said in a statement released by the team the Falcons are disappointed in the suspension. He says he has talked with Collins “and I have no doubt this will be something that he will learn from.”
