Where to find a drug take back location Saturday in the Tennessee Valley

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The Drug Enforcement Administration along with state and local law enforcement are urging us all to clean out the medicine cabinet on Saturday.

A nationwide drug take back event is going on from 10 AM til 2 PM.

You can drop off pill and patches that are now out of date or expired, at no charge.

The goal is to fight opioid drug addiction from painkillers.

This abuse has become epidemic and we are often supplying the addicts by simply keeping the drugs in the family medicine cabinet.

The DEA has posted local take-back locations at their website.
